VEEDERSBURG—Mrs. Mary Hoagland died at 5 p.m. Sunday at her home south of here on the same farm where she had lived all her life. Her parents were George S. and Catherine Rayphole Sines. She was first married to Jack Frost. Following his death, she married Smith Hoagland, who also is deceased. Mrs. Hoagland was a member of the Yeddo Order of Eastern Star chapter which she had served as worthy matron for six years. She belonged to the Christian Science Church. The survivors include a sister, Mrs. Nellie Beal of Hillsboro, and four nieces, Mrs. Fred Dice and Mrs. Wayne Tankanin, both of Chicago, Mrs. Roy Morgan of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Sewell Mitchell of Veedersburg. Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Christian Science services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sever Funeral Home, with Berg Hudler of West Lafayette as reader. Burial will be in the Centennial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
